Been Awhile

Well, it is true! No news is good news. Since Thanksgiving, Mom has continued to stay healthy and is getting stronger. I however, have gotten busy and haven't been blogging, sorry. Just didn't seem the same to say, she's still doing well.

But she is...since Thanksgiving, she has been to her Ladies of Charity Christmas lunch with Bridget, Christmas Tea at St. Anne's with her daughters and home for the day recently. At the St. Anne's Tea, they had a tree lighting where you could have memorials placed in someone's name. We added dad to the tree, even though the reader called him "Michelle Roche." Hope he's laughing at that one.

Thanks to all of you who have visited Mom and send cards, made calls and kept her in your prayers. Obviously, the prayers are working.

Christmas plans are for Mom to spend Sat. with all of us at Bridget's house. Then Christmas Eve, Pat says he'll make her dinner here at the house, while we are out with our good friends, the Kalts. Mom will stay overnight and be here with us for Christmas day. Not so long ago, that would have been a very ambitious plan, but right now it seems very doable.
